Bon Fire

What's more fun then to end the night off with a BIG bon fire. Have to say it was a bit big!! Tyler as always ready for action. Bear got into too. We are going to miss that big guy :(

Tyler's Bday

Today we celebrated Tyler's 7th Birthday! We went to the Fire House Museum. It was a big hit with the kids. Even mom got into it. We went on a fire truck ride, saw many old fire trucks, learned the history of the fire house and fire fighters. After a fun time there we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and had a great meal.

Another Year!

The summer has come to a close. The first day of school, Tyler 1st grade, Justin 5th grade, and Allison 7th grade.

We had a great summer, the kids accomplished a lot this summer. Tyler had a great year playing soccer and now is starting flag football. Justin has improved so much in swimming, he is ready for some serious swim meets coming up. He got his braces off too to start the school year. Allison has done wonders in her skating. She has moved up to the Teen Line and passed her level, which is a really big deal. She is also in the high school this year. We can't wait what this school brings us this year.

Deep Fried Twinkie's
So this year we decided to join the state fair fun! Had a fun time, actually wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We spent plenty of time in the animal barns. Tyler really liked the cow or maybe the cow like his hat! The kids and Ben ate A LOT of Food! First time trying deep fried Twinkie's and candy bar- yuck in my opinion but they loved them. Cotton Candy, corn dogs, corn on the cob, french fries and who knows what else. Spent some time in the Midway(they have games and rides) wasn't my idea of fun but the kids liked it. All and all it was a good day with the kids. The last big thing before school starts. And boy I can't wait when that day comes!
