Family trip to the cabin

Our family trip to the cabin this year was a little cold.  We had a fire in the fireplace going all day for four days. But we did do a lot of fun things.. A ton of fishing, walks, going into town, played outside with our cousins, mini golf, turtle races, and many other little things to keep us busy.

Going on the four wheeler is always fun, the dog even tried to get on it. Instead he ran like lighting to keep up with them.

A good week with the family at the cabin, just a little cold.  We couldn't do a lot of water things but there is always next time.

Our new family member

This is our new family member.. Ace, he is a black lab. In this picture he is 6 weeks old. This is also Ranger's step brother(same father different mother)

4th of July

We spent our 4th of July up at the cabin.  We went to a parade in town and had a little firework fun back at the cabin.  We did plenty of water activities at the cabin, Tyler went for his first ride in the canoe, didn't last very long but he did it. Mom actually went on her first canoe ride by herself too!  Ben got back into the groove of water skiing, the kids did a lot of fishing off the dock.  We actually had enough crappies to have a little snack.  We also went on a few bike rides into town, each time the two older ones had something to fight about the whole way into town and back to the cabin but it was a fun time. It was great to spend time with family and look forward to it again.
