The kids got to seat and tell Santa what they wanted this year. I think it may be the last year for this. They are getting so grown up.
I celebrated my birthday in Rice Park, St. Paul, MN. Ate at a great restaurant and walked in the Christmas lights. Even got a free bottle of wine, which I think I drank to much of. Ben certainly spoiled me as well as the kids. Another year, what will it bring. Hopefully not more grey hair.

Allison had a competition in White Bear, she did two solos and one team event. Did very well even though the judges were very hard. Great Job!!!
Happy Thanksgiving!! We had a relax day by watching the Macy's Parade and the dog show. We ate at Meeme and Papa's, ate way to much but it was so good.
We had to say good bye to our Big Gentle Giant, Bear. It was a very hard decision on our part. We miss him dearly every day. I still can hear him bark. The kids say that in his other life he is in a bread factory eating loaves of bread and in a field of flowers being lazy. I am sure he is having the time of his life playing and feeling like a young pup. We miss you Bear and will never be forgotten.
Here is the crew at Halloween! We had a fun night going trick or treating with our cousins!! And so much candy!! Good thing Justin decided to donate some of the candy. (only because he gets $2 a pound) but a good choice!!

Well it is that time a year again, pumpkin carving time! Ben did his part in cutting and the kids did the digging. Me, I just watched. The girls didn't want to get their hands dirty, paint works best for us.
Well Allison started her skating competition season this last weekend and did very good!! She got third in both her solo events. Way to go Allison!!! Can't wait to see you in the up coming events.
Here I am doing another race, The Monster Dash 13.1. Well I didn't make it to 13.1 only made it to 10. My body for the first time shut down on me. But I did 10 and had fun now time to rest the body to get ready for another season.

I did 26.2 miles today and I told myself a year ago that I would never do it and here I am! Cousin Bob helped me get through the race side by side. I don't know what I would of done without him. It felt great until mile 24-25 when I hit that wall but I toughed it out and ran to the finish line holding my partners hand. I DID IT!! Even under 5 hours, who would of thought!!! Would I do it again, I guess ask me when my blisters on my feet heal up. Thank you to my friends and family that came out to support me. I even got to run a little with my brother with his encouraging words. Now I have to rest and heal my body. Thanks WOOT WOOT
What's more fun then to end the night off with a BIG bon fire. Have to say it was a bit big!! Tyler as always ready for action. Bear got into too. We are going to miss that big guy :(
Today we celebrated Tyler's 7th Birthday! We went to the Fire House Museum. It was a big hit with the kids. Even mom got into it. We went on a fire truck ride, saw many old fire trucks, learned the history of the fire house and fire fighters. After a fun time there we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory and had a great meal.
The summer has come to a close. The first day of school, Tyler 1st grade, Justin 5th grade, and Allison 7th grade.
