The End is Here

The end is here!  We had our last day of fun.  We spent our day at the beach and played for hours then we went to our friends house up north to bowl and have dinner.  What a late night!  Kids had a blast.  Now it is time to go through all the cloths, make sure we have lunch supplies for the kids, and go to bed early so we can get up without any problems.  Wait when it comes to getting up for school we always have a problem getting up!  Happy School Year to all!

Good bye Summer

We say good bye to summer.  It was a great summer. It went way to fast for us.  We had a lot of good times, if it was at the cabin with friends and family, spending time at the beach at Lake Elmo, going for bike rides as a family, playing in our backyard, or just having a regular day, we had a good summer.  Now we are getting ready for our first day of school.  Tyler will be starting preschool two days a week(thank goodness for that!) Justin is in Second and Allison is in Fourth.  Let's just hope we have a good year in school.  So we say goodbye summer hello fall:(

Our Last Visit

We took one more trip up to the cabin.  We didn't have the best weather but we made due.  It was 44 in the evening, can you believe that already!  We took a bike ride into town for the first time this year.  We had a little problem in the beginning of who was going to ride what bike! Next year we will bring ours so the kids feel more comfortable.  But thanks to Aunt Jean and Uncle Ken we had bikes.  The kids did end up going into the lake, BRR, a few times.  But we did a lot of fishing on the boat and the dock where we did catch some pretty good size fish.

Allison was watching Hannah Montana 3D movie and thought Ranger should watch too.  

Bear

This is our Bear-if you look at his lips he actually looks like a black bear.  He is a 160 pound Newfoundland.  He is so lovable and really great with the kids.  He is 5 years of age and I guess with this breed they only last until 8 or so.  He is starting to have a hard time with his hips already- we feel so sorry for him.  But we love him so much and our other dog Ranger, a black lab, loves to bug him and keeps him going like a puppy.

Meredith

Here is Meredith- My brother's daughter.  She is 7 months old now.  Allison loves spending time with her.  Now that she is getting bigger it is more fun to play with her.  She is a very busy girl and she is not crawling yet!

Molly's home

We got to spend some time with Molly, Ben's sister, and Chris(Molly's boyfriend of 2 years) for a few days.  They live in Florida for the time being.  We went to Como zoo and saw the animals and did a lot of rides.  The kids had a blast with them, a lot of fun times! The kids certainly love spending time with their Auntie Molly and Chris.  They will miss them until they see them again but we are thankful for the time we had with them.

Tyler of coarse found the fire truck ride which he had to ride twice.  I think Allison and Justin have graduated to more exciting rides!

We went to the zoo today with Meeme it was very hot but we all did well.  We went into the butterfly building, very cool.  Justin wasn't to sure about it, Tyler and Allison wanted to touch them. We will have to definitely go back there again. We saw a lot of animals, they were all sleeping though, except for the Turtle(he had other ideas I guess!)

Well as sad as it was we had to turn in Ben's truck, so he gets to drive my Big Blue Beast around.  But he bought me this, well it IS for the family.  We love it!!  Yes it uses a lot of gas but what doesn't.  Plus it isn't like I drive all over the place, right?  It isn't any different from the Big Blue Beast or his truck.  Well it is different IT IS SO MUCH BETTER!!!  

Ranger

Our Ranger dog loves the water.  He'll jump all day and swim around with the kids while they are playing in the water.

Other

So is anyone else ready for school to start?!  I am!  The kids are getting bored and I am running out of ideas what to do each day.  School supplies are bought all that is left is the shoes and maybe some outfits.
