Happy Easter 2

This year was a little different for Meeme and Papa's Easter. Their oven broke, so we had Easter at our house. The kids got Meeme's eggs and baskets still and plenty of really good food. It is always fun to be with family where ever we are.

Miles

I am counting down the miles.. This year I have signed up for a handful of half marathons and my first FULL marathon. I am a little nervous with what I signed up for but I am not getting any younger :) I am sure I won't be doing another full only because training doesn't come easy for me. I am doing this for all my friends and family that have suffered with the illness of cancer. The ones that have lost their battle with it and who are fighting with it now. They fight for being healthy and strong which is so much more work then training or even running a full marathon. The pain and the "I don't want to do it" attitude is nothing what they have faced. I say to all my friends and family that are faced with cancer stay strong and fight the fight. I love you!

Happy Birthday Justin

Justin's Birthday dinner. He wanted walleye, bake beans and potatoes. Well that is what he got on his special day. Also he wanted a Red Velvet cake. I didn't realize how hard it was to find that. Good thing we found a really good bakery, Buttercream Bakery. Very Good cake!! Happy Birthday Justin we love you!

We celebrated Justin's 10th Birthday at Grand Slam with his friends. We got to play Mini golf, Bumper Cars, Laser Tag, video games and have a pizza party. We had a great time. Happy Birthday Justin!!!

Rock Climbing

Another activity that we did during our spring break was rock climbing... The kids just love it and man is it a work out. I love watching the kids push themselves to get to the top.
